We tried to get a selfie outside the store where the lighting was better. The owner came out thinking the kids were dizzy and might need to adjust the prescription...nope. Just a selfie.
Meet Rocky. Benjamin saw this one and decided it was the one to replace his other cat. He liked him so much because he "looks like a cougar" He's got a really sweet personality.
Qian Qian came over to play. I thought it was great that she sowed up her with her bag packed and told Lauren that she came prepared just in case I said she could sleep over. Ha! Love it! Guess who had an unplanned sleepover? :)
It rained a lot so we ran out for an ice cream treat when there was a brake in the rain.
Lauren was so excited that this little hamster (named Cookie) was only 2 US dollars. She was going to put him in with Katherine's hamster when Jonathan oh so wisely said "please tell me that we don't have a boy and a girl" Let's just say after some investigating, we in fact have a boy and girl. So guess who sits on Lauren's desk at school?

Hudson and I were out (doing a little birthday shopping for his sister) and he says he sure would love a coffee....how can you resist that smile? He had to settle for a cold chocolate. :)
He got so tickled as he was trying to take a selfie. We kept trying to move the drink to block the other guy from being in our picture, but Hudson was never quick enough to press the button.
Hudson started having some breathing issues. I didn't even think about pollution since it's not pollution season...but checked my phone. Glad to know. It only lasted a few days thankfully.

Ok, what are you supposed to do when a little beauty comes over to your house and is so excited that she caught 11 tadpoles and they are "JUST FOR YOU!" Oh dear...plus she wanted her container back. HAHA! So, I kept them for a few days and then let them go outside. :)

Katherine has been on a little reading kick this summer.
Ant Man 2 came to town. Happy Happy kiddos. Actually this was the first superhero movie that Hudson has actual enjoyed.....without being a spoiler to the movie...he loved all of the matchbox cars!
We had a beach volleyball get together. It was perfect weather.

I believe this might be my new favorite part of the beach. They even have lights so you can keep playing at night!

We went to meet some friends at the ice skating rink. Hudson said he didn't remember trying it before and was a little scared...

After we got back to town, it was raining and the taxi line was so long that it would literally have been a 2 hour wait just to get one...soooo, the bus it is....hard to believe how crowded a bus can be at 11:00pm

We had some rainstorms come through. It rained so much that parts of our city flooded. This was a picture that Jonathan sent me when he missed his train because his taxi couldn't make it to the station.
Even all the boats decided to be off the seas during the rainstorms.
