This has become one of our favorite places to walk around. Preservation park has plenty of trails and plenty of room to stay our 6 feet apart.
Benjamin, Hudson, and Lauren spent the day at Granddad's. It's not often I have just these two girls together. We had fun exploring the Battlefield trail through the woods.
I always enjoy taking pictures, but I have so much fun seeing my girls have fun.
Katherine completely in her element...nature, leaves, bugs, flowers...you name it
The purpose of hills? To roll down, of course!
Giving Wheeler a little treat (the neighbor's horse)
He comes when the girls call him now
The randomness of my younger girls. They have kept these balloons around since Lauren's birthday and decided that they would rub them on the walls to make them statistically charged. They stayed on the ceiling for days!
Our little killdeer mama still sitting on her nest.
The mockingbird babies have hatched!
We check on the momma often. We are so glad that the people that mow the lawn have gone around our mama.
Something hatched :) Found this on a walk
The kids played hide and seek in the house. I can't believe Katherine was on the top of the fridge! :)
This is called pure happiness for my girls!
Hudson wanted to spend the night...but decided he needed Lauren to stay, too. She agreed (although I think she was having second thoughts as I was leaving)
Granddad will get you some ice cream. That will make it all better ;)
Katherine found a worm...and named him Squirmy.
Regan, my photographer buddy
We saw several little millipedes along the way.
An old battlefield wall
Saying goodnight via FaceTime :)
Our baby mockingbirds are growing so fast!
The cardinals hatched!
The king of buttons.
This one is always asking to walk the dog...like 2 miles. She might need to make this a profession!
lunch on the patio
Regan and Hudson working on their creations. Hudson said he only wants to draw cityscapes.
So, they started with Hudson's favorite city!
So. Not a good picture...just a reminder of our cold night watching the stars above (and hoping to see some shooting stars)
Our little bit of happiness on our porch :)
cool clouds
Awe! We found another nest! This time baby robins!
Baby robins
We went back to the park. Hudson and Lauren joined us.
Just missing Benjamin...he was finishing up some schoolwork. He was on a roll and wanted to finish it.
This was a gift from Lauren for finishing all of my CE's to keep my license. I am relieved to have them finished! I was working hard to get all 24 in in less than 2 weeks because they decided to offer them for free for 2 weeks since people were stuck at home because of Covid. It saved us a lot of money! So Thankful!
