The girls were also excited. We typically walk just about everywhere, so getting to put your luggage in the trunk and just chill was a treat.
Hudson wasted no time in making himself at home.
Because of uneasiness in the region, hotel prices dropped so much that we were able to get a 5 star hotel...which means our room was big enough to walk by the beds ;)
I have no idea what this monument actually is, but it seemed like a good place to look like tourists.
It was pretty cool to see the lanterns decorating places for CNY.
Hudson wanted to get a picture here. He loves skylines.
The girls got a picture as well.
I told Benjamin he didn't have to be in any pictures that he didn't want to, but I was going to ask for several at Disney.
They were so excited that we let them get strawberry milkshakes!
These two are just alike :)
This girl was so patient for her cheeseburger. I accidentally ordered her a corn dog, so she had to wait while the rest of us started eating. She loves her burgers!
The skyline at night

Breakfast at McDonald's...photo credits - Benjamin
He let me get a selfie :)
The trolleys...Hudson REALLY wanted to ride these because they were so skinny and attached to a wire in the middle of the road. So, we got on and just rode it a few stops away.
I told the kids that if they see a place that they want to go into while we are walking around to just tell me. Look where we ended up! A pet store! Hahaha! Such a cute little white puppy.
Inside the skinny trolley :)
I've never noticed this building before....so interesting.
Subway lunch in the park :)
Plenty of birds to take pictures of
The big fears wheel...We didn't ride it, but we walked next to it and went to check out the fair that was going on. You had to pay a lot of money just to enter the fair and then pay for rides on top of that, so we just looked from the outside.
Regan...always drinking water
I love the huge tree in the middle of everything.
Someone is wiped out. Hopefully the pizza will wake him up.
Big NY style pizza slices
They were happy
We walked by a GAP store. Hudson said that he wanted to go in because he wanted a jacket or maybe a shirt that said "G. A. P." He said that he's always wanted one and he has his Christmas money. I said, "Really?" His response was, "Yes, one of the boys I play with all the time has a jacket that says GAP and it's really cool." So we went in and he decided to buy this one. PLUS it was 50% off. He had the biggest smile the rest of the day.
Riding the MTR (subway)
I also had some Christmas money. I bought an American snack :) plus two coffee/hot chocolate mugs that I have had my eye on. Any I still had some left for Disney :)
Almost there!! They were so excited! The park was open from 10:30-7:00. You could easily spend 2 days, but we only had enough for the one day (since I prefer to be able to eat fun snacks while we are there)
Someone was nice enough to take a family picture for us :)
Hudson asked if he could take this one since Benjamin took the one at McDonald's the other day.
Love the tickets...perfect for my scrapbook :)
We were laughing at Regan's watch. It tells time, counts her steps, and also tells her how stressed she is and when to get up and move, etc. She completely stressed out in school and it reads low. Waiting in line at Disney for the gates to open and her watch buzzes and says "High Stress" haha!
Mickey Hugs
Poor Regan was so much taller than Minnie :)
Lauren
Even Benjamin got a hug ;)
The kids
The parents :)
Daisey really couldn't believe how tall Benjamin was and even got him to laugh about it.
This display lit up at night, but I forgot to take another picture.
Pluto is Lauren's favorite Disney character.
He was being so silly with the kids.
Katherine's reaction...haha
The castle is undergoing renovations to make it bigger and better.
S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters and where the Ant Man and the Wasp ride was...one of Hudson's favorites. It replaced the Buzz Lightyear ride, but was basically the same thing...lots of shooting targets and getting a score.
The flying saucers....Hudson's other favorite ride. He did NOT like Space Mountain
Lunch...hot dogs and corn
Hudson, Lauren, and Mom riding Slinky in Toystory Land.
Benjamin, Regan, and Katherine
Heading towards the kids all time favorite ride...Grizzley Gulch Mine Cars
There were are. Hudson sat out the first time and Jonathan rode it so that no one had to ride by themselves. Hudson didn't really want to ride, but decided to give it a try since everyone kept saying how fun it was and asking him if he wanted to try it. He rode it with me and about 10 seconds into it said, "I think I'm going to be sick." Poor guy. He takes after his daddy. They skipped the next 4 times we rode it :)The girls rode this one....the video is hilarious. You can hear Katherine screaming over everyone else.
Boys' selfie on the Winnie the Pooh ride
My oldest two riding Dumbo
Selfie riding Slinky Dog
I'd say they had a fun day....completely sound asleep within minutes.
This one, too.
Mickey came out for a goodbye celebration. No parades this year.
These were the pics I got off of Regan's phone. Lauren insisted that Dumbo was the ride that she got to ride with her daddy. She, of coarse, chose the yellow elephant, her favorite color.
Riding the carousel
I think this might be my favorite of these two riding Dumbo.
Lauren showing me two of her souvenirs...the shirt and the mug.
Regan bought a Star Wars mug, this Captain America/Avengers T-shirt, and a set of Marvel characters. She's a huge fan. :)
