The view from the end of our street. On a more clear day you can see the Smokey Mountains :)
The kids were SO SO SO excited that we found an Asian market complete with an aisle of soy sauce. After a little searching, Jonathan found our favorite brand of soy sauce. The kids say his cooking tastes better now ;)
Hudson was beyond excited to be asked if he wanted to help replace a car engine.
Look hard. Can you find Hudson?? :)
He mostly held the light, but hasn't stopped talking about it.
I love the new dress she got as a birthday gift. It's so cute on her.Memorial Day fun with a little backyard BBQ and make your own cupcake
Never too big to be carried by her big sister
Love all these smiles
Katherine spent some of her money to buy fabric for a blanket. It was clearance and she loved the pattern...super soft, too!
New swings at the playground! (Lauren, Katherine, Auntie Em)
The third floor is a good hangout area ;)
picture time
They love Auntie Em so much....so much that they will re-do this crazy silly picture every few years to see how much they have grown. The original from 2013 is on Emily's Facebook. haha!
My brother and Shelby sent a fun little care package. Her boys had out grown or didn't want some of their clothes anymore, so Benjamin got lots of new shirts! YEAH! I love that they threw in the water balloons for all to enjoy! Loads of fun!
They also sent this for Lauren. So cute
We finally got over to SC to see Grandmommy!
These three went straight for the horses :)
I have no idea what Hudson thought was so funny, but I loved the picture. He was tickled about something.
Never too old for pretend play
Regan working on her school...Sassy is making sure she's staying on track.
The kids were excited that Grandmommy had several flower beds that needed to be worked on :)
Katherine (11) Regan (16)
The girls with Grandmommy
She made herself right at home and had nearly every toy on her bed.
Crayon Popsicles for the win :)
Where to start? They had fun trying to find all the right pieces and then glueing the figurines back together.
Lauren and Katherine with Grandmommy
The girls putting out corn for the deer.
Putting some fresh paint on some garden statues
This dog is funny. She WILL NOT let you take her picture. She knows. It took me forever to get one of her looking up and smiling like this.
The girls shopping for flowers (and Grandmommy talking to the store owner in the background)
The kids thought it was fun to chill in the bunk house....a little classic Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory on VHS for the girls and Fishdom Game on the computer for Hudson
They first dug up all the bulbs and replanted them in a different place, then put new plants in.
homemade strawberry shortcake
just hangin out on the front porch
Hudson had never seen a water tower and wanted a picture in front of it.
Lauren got to plant the sunflowers :)
Look at that face!! haha! He didn't remember sparklers...so funny
Regan was showing Grandmommy the finished product...it was too dark outside.
Taking Sassy for a walk in the woods
Regan found a baby frog on the walk.
Going out to eat during Covid-19 definitely looks different. It's not possible for a family to eat together because we have more than 4 people....and we had to be separated by a table that usually seats six.
The portion size was crazy big...but Katherine had no problem finishing hers.
Hudson was a fan of the meatballs.
The younger ones wanted to put a coin in the machine to see what came out.
We also saw a random turtle literally running through the front yard. It only stopped when we saw it.
The turtle was a little camera shy :)
