This summer has been the busiest that I can remember, hence the lack of blogs ALL summer long! So, I am starting my attempt to catch up. I will post several blogs based off of what was going on. My goal is to get them all up before October roles around and I can start back on my semi regular schedule ;) So this first picture was a group we met at the park...people from all over the world. I particularly enjoyed talking with Liliana, a refugee from the Ukraine, and hearing her story. It was a great Fourth of July picnic!
Regan joined in Katherine's group for youth group.
Benjamin made it back to the states for the summer. He was with Mamaw and Emily for about 10 days before going down to Atlanta to spend 2 weeks with his cousins.

Hudson finsihed his watercolor painting for hi summer homework. He's been workign really hard to get as much if not all done before all of our guests this summer.
We spent the 4th at the black sand beach in Ladispoli (super close to Rome)

Exhausted from all the fun
There goes our washing machine. We went without one for more than a month. Thankfully, it broke 2 days BEFORE our warrantee expired.

All of the girls saw them at the same time. Regan
says “Awe! You can put spices in here.” Lauren says, “Awe, you can put beta fish in there.” And Katherine says, “Awe! You can fill these with nails.” No matter how small the outdoor space, she makes the best of it and fills it with plants to enjoy.
Came in to get Hudson for dinner and found him asleep with the computer up...
..."Wake me up if you need me (or if it's time to eat). Trying to get rid of my headache.

well, Jonathan has been taking my close out to wash them for me and then we bring them back to hang them here. Thankful for some friends who have let us use their washers a few times! Super helpful!
