Well, this girl was pretty bummed that her class got sent to online learning for the LAST day of school which was supposed to be their party and fun day. She still had to get up and be online by 8:00 and was busy learning "technology" aka architecture-y type stuff for her first class of the day.
While Lauren was in class, Regan and I went with my friend to Metro (like a Sam's but in Italy only people with VAT numbers for businesses like restaurants can get a membership) Just one of the many freezer sections filled with cheese :) We were super excited to finally find cheddar!!!
Afterwards, we drove to their restaurant to drop off supplies.
her husband fed us while we waited :)
The drive home...I'm usually underground getting home ;)
Katherine came home from school. Each of the kids got a little mini panatone cake.
Well, not only was it the last day of school, but it was the 23rd, which means it's the day in our house where the kids exchange presents and they find out who got their name this year. Hudson has been hoping that it was Regan and was SOOOO excited when she brought him the gift.
She got him keys to the house on a key chain
and a paint by number of the Statue of Liberty.
Katherine drew Benjamin's name.
He got a pack of Italian Pokemon cards, and some games that they could play together.
Lauren got for Katherine (but I was sitting to close to get it in the picture)
A little snow globe, some candy and goldfish, and
a gift set with Christmas themed paper and envelopes for writing letters.
Benjamin got for Regan...
He insists on always getting her a stuffed animal...I've never seen a cuter lion :)
and a picture frame to take to college.
And the largest gift bag form Hudson goes to Lauren!
She was hoping "the big one" was for her!
She got Oreos, an ornament,
a little deer, and
a volleyball!
I think Katherine did good. They played checkers for a REALLY long time (oh! and Benjamin got some candy from her also
