These are just some snapshots of daily life in no particular order but all from June. This one was walking home from church one Sunday.
So, with Benjamin in America, Hudson has had the room all to himself. He's been loving having both beds to himself....haha!
He plays video games on Benjamin's bed and goes back to his bed to listen to music.

Happy Father's Day (technically the second one this year since Italy celebrates it non another day)
We had a visitor for a couple hours in Rome. Ellen actually babysat for the kids around 12 years ago! She's hasn't seen them since then...I guess they have grown just a LITTLE bit ;)

We went to the emergency room the next day for X-rays (which are free in Italy...hooray!) They said there was no break, which I really already knew, and that we needed to wait 7 days for the swelling to go down and then see her primary doctor and get an MRI. They also said she needed to be on crutches, but you have to get those at a pharmacy. So, we called a taxi and had him drive us to a pharmacy near our house to get the crutches.
We are 2.5 weeks out. The MRI showed inflammation in the talus bone and around her ligaments. So she is to take it easy but can start putting 20% of her weight on it and do a few non weight-bearing exercises. She is also doing magnetic therapy 6 hours a day at home before we head to the states. They want her to do some PT upon arrival in the states. Hopefully, she will heal quickly!!

Michele came over after school to play. After school, he and Hudson went to get some gelato. They were super happy and had a good time!
Regan got a haircut! (they always straighten her hair when they cut it)
Lauren also got a haircut. He cut it a little shorter than she asked for (especially since her hair is super curly) but I think it looks really nice.

Hudson had a piano recital. He did SOOOOO GOOD! This was his teacher. He surprised everyone, even the MC of the recital with his piece. She assumed it was a duet with his teacher when she read it, but his teacher said nope, it's all Hudson. I didn't know that it was a famous Italian song, but now I do. All of the parents knew it, and I wasn't the only one recording his performance ;)

I really didn't think I would see the day that he wanted short hair! He wanted to surprise everyone! I think it looks so nice, and he looks much older now, too! Now, he's decided that he is going to grow a beard. We'll see how that goes! :)
