I met a girl named Rui (Ruth) and she called to see if she could spend an afternoon with our family. SURE! She loved the dogs and had trouble getting them in a picture together, so I picked them up for a selfie.
Lauren's knee has been hurting and they wouldn't let her play volleyball until she saw a doctor. the doctor cleared her to play but said we needed to get her a brace for support. So, now she has the brace (except now she has no volleyball because the coach was too competitive and didn't like the fact that she also did dance and told her that she must choose...so she chose dance)
Katherine was getting creative with her paper again. I love this!
We got a package from Grandmommy!!!!!! Super excited kiddos to see what surprises are inside!
Love it!!
Benjamin has to go to the dr here every few months to get his prescription refilled. It always takes forever and a day, so I made him bring his art homework with him.
Lauren's new dance studio
Shadow always comes with me now on "my round" to give hugs to the kids. He says "goodnight" too!
Or sometimes the kids are the ones giving the hugs, but he still comes :)
Scout discovered that he could get on the top of his cage. Funny dog.
Scout helping Katherine as we play a few rounds of gin
Just trying on some jackets that we see for fun.
Never seen meat with a bear face in it before :)
I dropped the kids off at school and then went to the back to meet the other moms for coffee. Lauren's class had not gone up to class yet, so I snapped a picture of her with some of her friends. Sarah, Lauren, Isadora, Eleanora
And this is on the way home from Lauren's new dance studio.
Katherine enjoying her sewing machine
Benjamin looking thrilled to be doing school today.
Something is not right with this picture...Katherine in the floor and dog in the chair?
We happened to be out and saw the police block the road. Five minutes later a parade came through. Interesting.
I got a phone call from a lady I met who needed help moving out. She had only been in Italy for a few weeks and was flying back to her home country the next day. I mistakenly assumed that she would only have 2 bags...haha! Thankful for Katherine helping me figure out the jigsaw puzzle!
She had 6 suitcase, 10 shoeboxes of books, 5 bags of stuff, a backpack, and a bicycle!
But I got it all in and got her to the airport! She gifted the bike to us to use!!
We went up to Rome International Church for worship together.
The kids attend the youth group at this church, but normally the church service is the same time as our other services.
Hudson was beyond excited that he was offered coffee :)
The kids helping to entertain Briella
My boys were all matching
Such a pretty sky!
My tutor's nephew is blind. She's told me about how he types his homework on a braille keyboard. She brought it to class one day. it's so cool! He types certain pattern combinations for each letter on the blue. the braille raises one the line below. After he types his sentence or word, he can read the braille on the keyboard to see if he made any mistakes before hitting enter to send it to the computer. When he is finished he prints his homework and turns it into his teacher.
She just loves these dogs.
Here's the birthday party for Martina.
Happy Birthday!
The moms walked behind them to the mall ;)
Just listening to music and relaxing!
Random ponies in the park
Saw this tree in the same park...it was grew up in a circle.
Watching some Disney together
Wow. The crowds are back! This was us trying to get to the afternoon CHinese service.
Poor little guy had a headache
Scout was trying to make it all better...He did a pretty good job.
New shoes for tennis!
I watched this bird steal the nut from the store, fly away with it, and crack it open on this road sign.
The motorcycles always make their was to the front, even if they have to be on the wrong side to get there.
Love all of the parrots. You can see a green on on the top left branch. They are so pretty.
The olives are ready to be harvested
Tennis class
Katherine is doing really well!!
I should have gotten a better picture. They were using a machine to shake the tree to get the olives to fall into a net.
These were the directions that Katherine sent me on how to get to her tennis...haha! Thankfully, I also had an address.I love getting photos of Regan at school....some are sent to me from Regan....and some are from her roommate's Facebook :) Looks like she's having a good time...and studying!! ;)
My favorite!
Regan had a required art retreat. They spent the weekend away at this pretty location.
Look at all the stars!
This was part of her art assignment in class.
She had 2 days off for fall break. She went and spent those days with our good friends in Collierville! They lived literally one street away from Regan's friend. It was good for them to catch up!
This art is amazing! She had to write those words over and over and over aain to create an image. SHe did this picture of her little sister. Amazing!!
Actually, this one is my favorite!!! I love all of the fall colors!!!
