Father's Day and Much More

This girl was soooo excited that we finally got her some shoes that fit! We ordered them online and were hoping that they would work ok....size 12 success! (I just hope her feet don't get any longer. Shoes are getting harder and harder to find for this 11 year old)
Grace said, "Hey! We match today!" :)
This tasted so good. They have a new ice cream at the shop down the street. We decided that it might be good since it was by Oreo. Yep. It was good. Chocolate cone, cookies and cream ice cream and a chocolate layer on top. I can handle this flavor ;)
The puppies are leashed up and ready to go! They were going to stay at a "doggy hotel" for the day (because it was Children's Day). We had plans with some friends for the day and evening and didn't want them to be home alone so long. They were excited until they realized we weren't staying with them.
We ate out for lunch and a couple kids ate these huge hot dogs.
KFC was a little crazy that day!
We spent one evening in a REALLY nice hotel room (compliments of our friends). The kids were so impressed that the room had a TV with ENGLISH channels!
The older kids went outside to check out the gym. Hudson wanted to know if he could stay inside for a bit and wanted me to play Hide and Go Seek IN THE ROOM! So there's only a very few places I can "hide"
So the closet it was. I really thought he would look there first but...
...he was so surprised to find me there. This pictures still makes me laugh!
The kids liked watching a show on called the Science of Stupid on TV. It was fun and funny. They explained all of these science things and why it didn't work for some people.
Children's Day here is really aimed at the super little ones, but I still have 3 that want to be little.
They all drove these little cars around the plaza. Katherine barely fit :)

Then Hudson and Lauren rode a little merry go round that played awful music.

And then these two jumped on a trampoline.
She's almost too big, but they let her do it anyways :)
 Selfie in the kiddie train
 We were the caboose.
We ended the evening with a SUPER crowded McDonald's and stood around tables until one finally opened up.
It was a pretty night for a stroll.
And this one decided to lose a tooth in the hotel room. The tooth fairy may or may not have been really tired and gave too much money. Oops
The hotel had a free breakfast buffet.
It was a mix of East and West. WE decided it was best to taste a little of everything before deciding what we liked best.
The omelet looks good, but it wasn't done on the inside.
Hudson wanted to see the gym, so we let him come down and "workout" with Regan ;)

The pool finally opened!!! They opened it with their annual catch a fish. They usually have fish that you take home to eat, but this year they just put small fish in the pool. We didn't go this year, but apparently there were still some survivors from the event and my kids found them all.
The first 3 days are free swimming and then you have to pay.
What? I'm helping guard the clothes.
Scout making sure Hudson stays in place to read his book ;)
A typical bus...Everyone is absorbed in their phones.
Lauren was so excited to make a friend!! We had some friends that were adopting, so we dropped by to eat with them. It was good to reconnect and the kids enjoyed all of the talking in English.
Wow, you are so tall! Precious Ruth.
 The ride home....
 Look at this handsome guy!
He was all ready for his first piano recital.
Only a few of us got to go, but he did awesome!
He loves the piano so much! I think we found his love.

He was so proud after he finished. He told me that they clapped so loud for him.
We've had some crazy weather. I tried to catch some of it with my phone. We had many lightning storms and even a water spout!

This is Hillary's baby, Joseph. He just turned one and got these pictures made. I couldn't leave it out.
 Family night....playing some Nertz tonight.
 Cleaning the kitchen assembly line
 He's so cute.
Hudson just couldn't stay awake any longer.
 HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!!!!!
It was an interesting Father's Day. We went out to eat and ended up with seats right next to the lady screaming across the entire restaurant for how many seats and who is next, etc. Plus they put all of the waiting people right behind us.
One good part is that she had a lull in the surge of people coming in and took a picture for us while we waited for our food.
Afterwards it was a family grocery shopping trip.
It's easier to not shop as a family on a weekend, but...it's Father's Day :)
We saw this advertisement at a clothing store and everyone said it reminded them of Benjamin. He did not like the attention, so you should probably not mention it. ;)
This is what Regan and Lauren made for Jonathan as his gift (Master Chef Junior has inspired them to attempt many things) It was delicious!! Blueberry Lemon Cheesecake, Mini Red Velvet Cheesecake, Apple Crisp Cheesecake.
 :)
 Jonathan holding baby Caleb.

Benjamin had a science project this week that required that he spin people around in chairs and record certain data. Needless to say, he enjoyed this project.
Yes, those are earplugs in her ears. One part was to keep earplugs in and close your eyes to see how it affected you differently.
Hudson had the craziest eye responses out of everyone.
He also felt the most nauseated. Poor guy. What we do for our siblings and their homework.
Regan was at the coaches only photo shoot. These are the girl coaches. It was supposed to be an outdoor photo shoot, but it was raining pretty hard.
I really like this one. Regan is the third from the back on the left. They were lined up by height.
The girls getting ready to leave for soccer.
Lauren taking advantage of Katherine's chair while she was at soccer class. I snuck this picture through the window :)
I decide to read as well. Shadow didn't really like that I had a book, so he laid on the desk. Sweet puppy.
Regan and I went out for her photography homework. She had specific thing that she needed in her pictures. I'm glad she didn't fall off backwards ;)
One of our favorite flowers here. They are starting bloom now.
