Regan Move-in Day

Well, today was the big day!! It was all so exciting and fun to see where Regan will be living! That evening, one of her high school English teachers from her online school drove several hours just to meet us for dinner! What fun at Panera!
I told Regan to make sure and send me pictures. She sent me this one with one of her friends.
Her desk in her room.
Her first week of school and she's baking banana bread for a get together.
Regan and her roommates worked to make the living room feel a little more warm and homey.
Big hugs as I am about to drive Regan to school.
Bye! See you next week ;)
Hugs from Katherine

The move-in process was so easy and well organized. There were lots of cheering students with signs that said Welcome and lots of people pointing you in the right directions. The check-in was based on last name so we knew which car line to get in.
they greeted us in the line and handed Regan her name tag and welcome packet.
They had nice signs that we put in the window that let all of the workers know which dorm to direct us to.
We were greeted in the parking lot by Regan's RA and room keys given.
She then walked us to Lee (Regan's dorm)
Poor Regan. Moving in while on crutches.

During the room set up
Regan's RA is from China. So, Regan brought her some China snacks. So much fun!
Her "closet"
Everything looks so nice!

I'm so glad that I got to help her move in and be a part of this day with her!
I love all of the green space!
We had dinner together on Thursday. Students were free, parents 10 each. We sat at a table with Anna and Pam. What a blessing! Anna and Regan hit it off right away, and I've been able to stay in contact with Pam as well.

Thursday evening was a family worship service and welcome. After it was over, the students had another event (at 930pm) and the parents left.
The campus is beautiful day and night. I never saw the real Buster, but I've seen pictures and he lives in the Freshman quads.
The students' social
Yep, that's my girl. We went grocery shopping and she bought the biggest bag of rice that they had, some flour, and oats. We also went to Sam's to buy chicken and frozen berries. She's now set.
On a mission to find her mailbox.
There was a special lunch for some of the parents on Friday. It was really good!
unfortunately, I don't remember what anything was called.

After lunch, I had some time to kill before I could meet back up with Regan. So, I walked around every store in a strip mall nearby. This little guy really wanted to come home with someone ;)
And I took this picture for Lauren because she loves hamsters and loves cows, and I thought this looked like a good combo of the two. haha!

I stayed the night with my college roommate. It was a really short visit but great to see her and her family and all her fur babies, too!

Regan sent me another picture of her shelf after she got it organized.

Puppies in Rome, Sheddans at Granddad's

My tutor watched the dogs for us while we were in the States. She LOVED the dogs and really spoiled them. She sent me this picture of them going grocery shopping with her.
Shadow made his way to her bed

The princes in their chair...they saved a spot in the middle for whoever wants to sit with them.
Aren't they so cute! She apparently bought them turkey slices at the deli!

We love eating pizza at different places! This was a Cruze Farms
I missed this one in a previous blog. Trying on clearance rack clothes at Belk.

Waiving by to Emily and Mamaw! They drove down to my dad's house on Sunday to help get us all there and to say hi/bye to Benjamin.

Ashley and her boyfriend, Christian, and Aunt Kim came to visist!

Regan just hanging out with Granddad.
Sprocket getting some extra love.
One of the few times Zoey didn't run and hide from me. She's scared of all of us really.
We counted 19 deer and 3 babies laying in the grass. It's hard to believe that all of these deer live in the neighborhood!
Murphy thinks he's a 100 pound lapdog :)
The boys hangin out on the porch
I love this one!
Hudson. That face! :)
We drove a quick 2 minutes down the road to show off "our" sign and to get a family picture by it.

Benjamin looks so tall!

I have no idea what they are doing here
We picked up Chinese for lunch. YUM!
These next dew are back in Knoxville. They loaded out of order.
A frog gummy in her snow cone

She ordered the Grim Reaper (Sour Tsunami and Grenade with extra sour)

Bunny's adventures traveling in the car
Hailey (one of Regan's roommates to be) came to visit Regan in Alabama at her camp! WHat a fun surprise!!!
Chillin' with his big sister
And we are packed!! Moving Regan to college the next morning!!
