Valentines, Baptism, Birthday, and More

Regan has been using every spare moment working on her book. She hopes to have it published in April!! I'm so excited for her. She is writing and illustrating the children's book.
Emily offered to have the kids over so Jonathan and I could go out for a Valentine's Day date. She made lots of cookies for the kids.
Jonathan took me to a restaurant called The Front Porch. Reservations were required.
We had Spinach Artichoke dip, salad, and chicken cordon blue.
Turtle cheesecake for dessert
We tried to get a selfie after we left, but the only place with enough light was in the parking lot with some random car in the background. :) oh well
We arrived back to Emily's in time to finish watching The Black Panther...
...and recreate a mustache photo from 6 years ago.
WE also must make some more silly photos.
I love this one of Jonathan and his sister :)
Benjamin decided his mustache should be a goatee...I am seeing what he might look like in a few years ;)

Hudson is becoming quite the breakfast chef. He loves his morning eggs and sausage. He's not much for cereal.
The puppies playing a little tug-o-war
Regan and Benjamin's taekwondo class here in America
An ice storm came through the midwest and middle Tennessee. We didn't get snow or ice (thankfully) but it was COLD!
Well, we thought that Lauren might "graduate from PT" after this visit but she still has some issues with her feet to work on. The orthotics are doing well, but her knee (especially on the right leg) is caving inward on jumps. So, they are going to work on it a bit longer before they release her. Here he is showing her a video of herself so that she can see what is going on.
This dog. He had her pinned down. No more school.
Benjamin tested for his red and white belt. Because he was not a black belt yet, coming in to a new center, he was required to go down to a brown belt and then work his way back up. He did well.
Oh, we miss seeing these faces!
Katherine has been asking for days for me to go into the woods with her. This child loves nature! I'm not sure where we are going.
She sure was one happy girl that we explored for a bit.
Signs of spring in the woods!!
Benjamin joined us!!
A special day at Calvary
Hudson got baptized

He so sweet and just loves Pastor Dan and Ms. Kathy
Regan finally got to see Ms. Rebekah (her preK choir teacher before we went overseas) I'd say Regan has grown a bit since then ;)

Out to eat for Mexican food to celebrate Hudson

Look at that face! He was so proud of himself for stumping his sister on hang man. His word was physiology. really?!
I love these shirts!
He's so glad that he got to keep it.

The dogs got a haircut (well, they needed more cut than what the lady did) Now, they look a little poofy.
Shadow looked a little less ridiculous than Scout did
Taekwondo class...Benjamin front middle, Regan 3rd on the right
The puppies had their first experience a t a dog park and LOVED it!!
Shadow even played fetch with a frisbee.
Lauren's foot and ankle was really bothering her. Come to find out that she had a bone pop out of place. It was not pleasant being pushed back in. They also did cupping. She says that always helps.
They taped her foot after they got the bone in place to give it more support for a few days and to keep it in place.
My sister sent me this picture of Gracie. She is a fan of Valentine's Day.
Grandmommy has arrived for my birthday. She came with gifts...haha! She gave Hudson a Fortnite Monopoly game. He and Benjamin played it and had fun.
WE went in to Krispy Kreme and saw how the donuts were being made.
It was fun to watch the glaze go on.

On my birthday, we went out to eat at Texas Roadhouse.
They wouldn't let us all sit together because of Covid, but we were still close.

The girl table
This just made me laugh to see the Chic-fil-A workers taking orders in the rain...water proof hampers is what they look like.

The girls finished
Benjamin decided that he should announce my birthday since the waiter at Texas Roadhouse did not. He made me laugh and smile all night.
A bag with "Hello Beautiful" on it....which is how Jonathan answers the phone every time I call him.
Lauren gave me dark chocolate M&M's and made me a little cake.
A shirt form Emily
Photo storage case from Katherine
A Precious Moment from my mom
Chopsticks and gift cards from Mary and David
Yeah! A cookie cake!!

They were giving Lauren a hard time for cutting huge pieces. She did good. I'll take it.

It looks like Lauren has passed Emily up!

We went to eat with my other aunt (Sandra) and they had popcorn instead of bread before the meal.
onion rings and cheese sticks

Off to the dog park!
Are we there?!
The puppies first trip to PetSmart. They did so good.
We bought one toy. It was a hit once they got home.
