Visa Run

I had two great little helpers who did a great job preparing for a ladies fellowship at our home.  It was one of the lady's last night because she is moving to a new city (and getting married).
Katherine trying her new icing technique that she learned on Master Chef Junior :)
I thought they turned out pretty good!
Her last night, so Katherine decided that the cheese and crackers plate should have a big H for Hillary (her English name)
We were just a little excited about the sprinkles and icing ;)
We were preparing to leave the country (in two days) and Hudson's cough went into full force.  It sounded horrible.  So, we took a quick trip to the hospital for a breathing treatment.  It worked wonders! His cough is now gone!
I just can't help but take a million pictures of this cuteness :)  He switched to a new time per the coach's request.  He is now in a class with 9 other boys his age and he is LOVING it!
But this was the cutest part...he was so proud of himself afterwards and rode his bike home.  He's going down the path and he passes a group of about 6 college age girls who just squealed and ooohed and ahhhed over him.  His head just turned right towards them and he had the biggest grin (they were now behind him).  I had to yell ahead to tell him to look where he was going. HAHA!
I needed to stay home and pack for the trip, but Jonathan was able to go to a traditional Hakka house for dinner and "dancing"  He said the food was excellent.
This is the house from the outside.
It's time to head to the airport for a very important visa run!  This little guy was BEYOND excited!  He was getting to go on a plane and it was his first time to go to Mamaw and Papaw's house in Malaysia.
He told me that the plane didn't go very fast.  I told him that it had not taken off yet...just be patient, it will.
Ah, and any trip goes by faster when your sleeping!
We got to Malaysia and Mamaw and Papaw picked us up in 2 cars.  On the way home, we realized that the gas gauge was broken and we ran out of gas.  The tow truck came and towed us (still in the car) to the first gas station 20 km away.
This is what excited kiddos look like at midnight while getting towed down the highway.
 The gas station :)
The kids are so excited to have access to a pool EVERY DAY that we are here!
 living the life
 playing board games with Papaw

Papaw got a kick out of Little Miss Personality.  She just made herself at home and started eating out of Papaw's bowl of noodles.

Ah, you know you are loved when your mother-in-law picks up TWENTY-FOUR Dr. Pepper from Singapore so that you can enjoy them while you are at their house! :)  So good!
Two days in and Mamaw has already made M&M cookies, chocolate chip brownies, cake, muffins, and all kinds of goodies that we are not used to :)
 Eating lunch
They all wore their new shirts at the same time...they are each so them...Regan: So many books so little time, Hudson: Tiny but Tough, Benjamin: work like a captain play like a pirate, Lauren: butterflies, and Katherine: a bunny :)
Who needs to put the coin in the machine to have fun!
Only in tropical countries will you see Santa flip flops
 Like father like son
This little girl was so excited about her new swimsuit...I think it makes her feel like her big sister...no more skirts and cartoon pictures.

We were able to see a solar eclipse!!!  How fun was that!
Hudson had a 3+ hour eye examine....too cute for words
Papaw treated the kids to a 3 minute chair massage :)
Hudson thought it was great that he could be the driver
This is his dream job!  He wants to be a bus driver.
This girl also got a big kid swimsuit.  She was a little harder to find one for because she wanted some bright colors in hers.  She found this one and brought me back to see it.  I was happy to see that it was 70% off :)
 Working together on the iPad.
They love each other!
