Thanksgiving 2017

The girls and I went to another city to see some good friends.  The girls had picked out this coloring book for Soey right before we left America. It was a late night, but we all had fun!

 Just hanging out together :)
A little game of Clue with the family...Katherine one the first round!
The kids love Muslim "soup noodles"
I happened to see this picture on one of the coaches sites. I'm so glad they were able to get some photos!
Even the dog needs to study...
Regan and I went to see Bonnie.  It was the first time since we have been back that I have had a chance to see her.  We had a good talk and a good time!

Regan on her way to class and Katherine running to meet her to say bye :)
Katherine had a special ice cream treat...mmm.
The puppies got a much needed bath!  The kids decided that they should try to wash them at the same time; it would be more efficient that way.  Well, maybe more efficient, but definitely not easier.  I think one at a time is the way to go.
It was Hudson's turn to take the dogs to the vet for their shots. He was so excited!  It actually wasn't Regan's turn, but I asked her to go to help hold the dogs when we were out. Hudson loves the puppies, but can't control them very well.
We had a house full of kids the weekend before Thanksgiving.  This little girl is 3 yrs old and adorable. We got a phone call at 3am Friday saying that her mom had gone into labor and asking if she could stay with us.  Of coarse!  We had also already agreed to keep two local friends for the weekend.

in the elevator (taking them out for a walk)
It actually got chilly for a day or two.  The puppies started shivering, so the girls put them inside their jackets. haha!
I have no idea what was being said in this picture or who took it. Oh well. ;)
Lauren has been quite the little helper with the dogs.  She has been getting up early, getting dressed and taking the dogs out firs thing! She comes back, feeds them, and then takes them out again.  I could get used to this!
 And then there is this.
 And then, puppy jail.
Just a normal walk on the sidewalk
My night time helper :) Aren't they cute...all three if them!
This is the look from my kids when we missed our train.  We still had 3 minutes, but they closed check-in. We had to wait an hour for the next train.
It was all good.  Our friends ordered take out. Delicious.

Our Thanksgiving Turkey!!! It really does make me happy to be able to have a turkey on Thanksgiving. This year, we were able to celebrate with two other American families.
 Look at this sweet bundle
 Oh happiness right here

We had a pizza class with some of our neighbors.  It was a great time and gave us an opportunity to get to know each other better and share with each other.

 My new favorite ornament!
 Christmas tree decorating selfies!

He's waited a long time for it to be his turn again!

More selfies...I think Hudson was over it...haha!

The first Christmas movie of the season.

We went to Winter's birthday party! This is the first time Xiao Jun has cooked for our whole family! She did a good job!
And yes, it requires documentation when you figure out how to feed all of these people ;)

Our gift was a hit :)

 A special mango layer cake

Everyone enjoyed playing the cooking game together.
Regan had a taekwondo competition. This is her friend Liang Ju Lin
The main guy at the center was so proud of Regan! She got second place in the routines!!!  He even found me in the stands and had security let me in so that I could take this picture.  Great job, Regan!
Here she is all geared up for the fighting portion.  She made it to the finals and lost the very last match of the night! A strong SILVER medal finish!  She was so tired at the end (and so were we). We got there at 7:45am and the last match ended at 9pm
