Dreams

Side note...I thought I posted this awhile ago until my dad made a comment about seeing the same city picture on the blog. I'm not sure what happened, but all of the comments and such are missing.  I'm about ready to post the next one...so stay tuned ;)
Regan eating lunch with her teammates the day of their performance.
The little girls and I went to eat hot pot.  It was a place we had not tried yet.  It was ok....but the left side was waaaaaaay too spicy!
The girls wanted extra meat ;)
I love that the girls are able to eat corn like the locals.  You should try it sometime! Eating corn on the cob with chopsticks takes a little practice.
The taekwando master :)
A few pictures from the performance...if you look closely Regan's eyes are closed.  She said it's less scary because this kid has missed and kicked her in the face once before.

I love these girls and their individual personalities.  The little girls pulled out their jackets because it got down to 80 :)
He loves his sister.
Eye tests for Lauren...
...and Regan
This is Scout's favorite place to be during the school day.
A little break for some nerf gun fights

This is the opera house where Lauren performed.
The cat loves Shadow...maybe he thinks he's a dog?
Scout was cold...I admit, it was a little chilly this morning.

On her way to dress rehearsal...her dreams are coming true.  She want to be a professional ballet dancer when she grows up.  She was so excited when she tried out for a part in Sleeping Beauty and was chosen!  She was one of 6 kids that was chosen to dance on pointe!  She was the cutest little fairy and yes, I went to each performance that they did!
I was glad that one of the workers took some pictures backstage and sent some to me.
The girls in the performance doing their homework.  This is where I waited for her during rehearsals.
Look at that smile!  Birthday boy got to open his package from Granddad and Mammy on Skype.
He wanted a ruler with inches on it...so Granddad sent 3 just in case they broke in transit.
It will have to do...It's as close as we can get for now.  So thankful for Skype!
Tennessee :)
Regan got contacts for the first time.  She was practicing putting them in at the store.  She got them for taekwondo because she really should have her glasses on...and she doesn't during the fighting, but can't see a thing without them.
This girl got glasses!  She really just needs them for reading and playing music.  She was getting dizzy and having trouble when doing school and music class.  It turns out that she has an astigmatism and just a little bit of nearsightedness.
She loved seeing all the advertisements around town.
It was truly a dream come true.
rehearsals
The fairies
She made some really good friends through this.

make-up

Lauren was chosen for a special solo part. She loved the "poofy dress"

After the performance

Someone sent me thesis next ones... I really enjoy watching her dance :)

Life of a dancer on pointe...she loves every minute of it!!
Lauren and Aurora
I had the kids watch the cartoon Sleeping Beauty before the show so that Hudson would understand what was going on.

waiting for it to start
The one picture I took so that my baby girl could see what she looked like behind the screen for her solo part.  It's not clear, but at least she can see what it looked like.

Autographs afterwards
Lauren and her good friend Qian Qian
Heading home after the show

curtain call

a party at taekwando
I took a taxi and the guy had FIVE phones all charging and up running with Uber type apps....plus he was a normal taxi.  I guess that is one way to do it?
Poor Scout. He was sick...he ended up not eating or drinking for a full week and spend so much time in the vet hospital.  Thankfully, he is back to normal now.
The littles always ask for the cat.
Mammal Poster presentations!  The skunk
The arctic wolf
Science experiment...One ecosystem has worms...the other has none
Art class

The two younger ones watching Leap together
Katherine made a Halloween costume for Shadow.  He was a mailman.
Lauren went to her friend's birthday party (Yes, the balloon says it's a boy)
Lauren is 2 years younger than these girls :)
One boy came to the party...haha!
Benjamin in taekwondo class
These are my favorite flower around town. They are on most of the bridges.
