Slumber Parties and LU

The kids spent the weekend with Auntie Em while Jonathan, Regan, and I went to visit Liberty University.

Ready for the tour
It was good to see the university while there were students on campus. It gave Regan a better feel for what it would be like.
This is quite the exercise facility for the kids to use!
Regan and Aili at the highest point on campus. You can see everything from here.

Jonathan ran into one of his friends there. Yes, we were social distancing.
Recruitment...the second half of the day was pretty fun because it was all sports related and she got to see all of the taekwondo stuff and meet the coach.

I've not seen a vending machine for school supplies before :)
The coach gave her a team shirt!
We stayed with our friends who live there. It was great for the adults to catch up and for Regan and Aili to catch up as well.

Love this!
busy doing arts and crafts at Emily's
Trying his hand at some wood burning
Regan drove 3.5 hrs on the interstate...great job!
A wheelbarrow can lead to all kinds of fun :)

fun washing Emily's car

Katherine drew our puppies while there...and her guinea pig

One of my favorite dresses
popcorn and a movie with the big kids
The boys bonding over video games ;)
We bought a world map and ALL have enjoyed it!!
Hudson's experiment
Our friend sent us an update on her little boy. He's getting so big!
Regan found a taekwondo center here. It's definitely not the same, but she's having fun. This class, they were making sure that everyone could use their moves for self defense as well.
Katherine's science experiment
Regan had to use lines to represent words like courage, change, anger, imperfection, life, etc. I was impressed with her ideas. This was such a fun assignment!
