Puppy Surprise

Well, we are at the airport in Atlanta waiting for our flight to Miami to hopefully pick up a very special package from overseas!!
We arrived in Miami and our puppies cleared customs! The kids have no clue! We didn't want to tell them just in case we couldn't pull it off.
We finally got them. I wish I could have video taped the looks on the puppies faces when they saw us. I don't think they could believe it. I happily put them in our rental car and pulled out of the parking lot.
They had quite the delay in Korea. Their hair is so long they could barely see. They also smelled bad. Because of Covid, customs is not open 24/7 so they had to wait all night in their cage for the office to open. Our first stop was a store to buy paper towels and cleaning supplies and let them get out and walk around for a bit.
We then started the LONG drive home. The puppies slept and Jonathan looked up every groomer along the way to see if we could get 2 dogs in for a bath. We finally found a PetSmart in Gainesville, Florida, that had 2 openings when we would be passing through. So we dropped them off and went to eat dinner at Chilis.

We went to pick them up and they were poofier than ever!! Scout just makes me laugh when I look at him.
We made it back to Knoxville and surprised the kids. They have been so so happy to have their puppies back.
Look at those smiles!
Emily's dog, Linus, was checking out his fur cousins.
Shadow has always been my dog. After a few month of travel and airplane rides, he wasn't about to let me out of his site for more than a few seconds. He's adjusted quickly though and is loving American life.

Hudson and Scout
Katherine and both dogs
The dogs got so upset when we were telling Emily bye. I think that they thought we were telling them bye again. They were so happy to get in the car with all of the kids!
Scout rides in the back. He has taken many trips in the car now and has decided that he like to sleep with his head in the cupholder.

Run, run, run!

I'm not sure who's happier, the dogs or the kids.

So, while we were away, Auntie Em kept our kids and kept our secret! :) Thanks Emily for sending us pictures of your fun time together.
My sweet tooth here...eating Rice Krispy Treats
Katherine has had one or both dogs by her side constantly. It's been so good.
Grace! She video called the girls and said, "Finally! You have the puppies! It's so hard not to tell you." The dogs were originally going to live with Grace, but when we found out that her grandparents were moving in and said no to pets, we started trying to bring them home. She is such a good friend.

We might be getting a little distracted from our math work...just a little ;)
I had to through this one in there....look how little they used to be!
Their first time to run in a park. They LOVE it!!!
Hudson hangin out in the park with his TN gear.
Scout at the park
They are just too cute.
This one is also from Emily's house before we loaded everyone in the van.
