Jonathan's 40th Birthday!

When we got back from Emily's the parking lot was too icy. So we parked at the bottom of the hill and walked up to the house.
Benjamin got up at 7am and shoveled the entire drive. He said he wanted us to be able to pull the van up to the house. He worked hard and loved every second of it.
Jonathan then went out to help him "build and igloo" before the snow started melting away. Jonathan didn't have any snow gloves, so Benjamin gave him one of his and they each wore a sock on the other hand.
They had a good time together :)

The black ice in the parking lot and the reason we didn't try to get up the drive.
The start of his igloo.

Shadow enjoying the outside...
Look at that face.
Scout can run so fast! He kept trying to get to the car because he wanted to go for a ride. Yes, Benjamin did excellent, and I was able to get the car up the driveway :)
Hudson gave us quite the Christmas concert! I just love hearing him play!
Well, I sent Jonathan on a walk to the dumpster in an effort to try to surprise him with all of this Indian food for his 40th birthday! Jonathan's parents paid for the meal and Emily picked it up and brought it over.
Setting the table...
...and quickly decorating!
BIG 4 0 family selfie! He knew something was up, but we managed to make the Indian food a surprise. Between Covid and the snow outside, it was hard to pull of a true surprise.

Happy Birthday!!!
Rome playing cards and Kohl's gift cards from Mamaw and Papaw.

Made with much love!
Regan has been working on this made from scratch carrot cake all day.
Yes, 40 candles are required ;)

After presents and cake we played Telestrations. It led to some serious belly laughter and tears!!

Thank you Emily for capturing his family photo on Jonathan's special day.
