My cousin Katie and her family came on a trip though Italy. It was so good to see them and catch up while they were in Rome. Hudson REALLY enjoyed meeting more of his cousins
He and James were buddies
James, Hudson, and Noah in front of the Pantheon
walking and talking the streets of ROme
Trevi Fountain
Gelato
The boys wanted to do some Pokemon hunting ;)
walking in the aquaduct park
seriously, cute
largest obelisk in Rome
heading to the metro
Lunch at Chianti
we split one because I had a free gelato if we tried their olive oil flavor....sure, why not. I'm glad we got to end on strawberry though!
Regan and Paige at Caleb's wedding
Our unconventional wedding gift for the bride and groom (who are huge Disney fans) I thought it was only fitting from their "Italian" family ;)
and now. Peyton and Regan have always looked like siblings
the wedding venue...Berry College
so pretty
My mom and brother at the wedding. Since I wasn't there, I have no pics than what has been sent to me :)

May 2025 - Kids' Activities, Etc.
Lauren and her ballet teacher Yasmine...
This is Yasmine's last day before moving to another part of Italy. There were lots of tears by coach and students
Hudson playing at piano recital
Trying on their outfits for the show...so elegant
One of Lauren's dances (she was in 11 this year)
Heading out to see her perform.
The tickets were 2 together in the "good" seats and 4 in the "other" seats. Katherine and I got the good ones ;)
She did all of this dancing on a broken foot! She broke it in rehearsal but that was NOT going to stop her from performing.
Afterwards (yes, she has a suitcase for all of those costume changes)
Hudson, on his way to his recital. WE needed to take the train...and mom got to YouTube how to tie a tie!
on teh way to Katherine's last tennis class for the schoolyear
It's a little harder to get photos of the class through the fence, but I still tried :)
and then the Etc part of the blog...there was an electrical fire under the ground right by our house. The first sign was that everyone lost internet. Then smoke starting pouring out of manhole covers. It took all day and all night to get it resolved....and another 2 weeks to restore internet...and just FYI the holes will be there until at least Sept 15 because no more outside work is allowed due to heat....the only hole temporarily covered is the one shown in the photo...which si a good thing because that is a one way street to our parking garage and police station
pulling out all the burned wires
replacing lines
The mess we woke up to
and teh traffic jam it caused!
no power for us
we had a bird's eye view of all the excitement
smoke
calling in extra help to break through the road once they realized the manhole cover got paved over...oops
