May 2025 - Random Photos

One of my favorite things this past year has been studying the Word with this group of ladies! We have 9 different countries represented in this photo!
Jonathan attending the weekly prayer meeting
When you are in biking class and the sky was perfectly clear when you left, but you come up over the hill and see this...you know you are about to get wet!
But the out of nowhere storm brought some of the prettiest rainbows I have ever seen.
Heading to America for a wedding. The plane engine was HUGE!
One last visit before our friends went to the states.
The little bunnies came out in the park
The brightest rainbow ever (actually a triple rainbow...a double then a third off to the side)
The view from our balcony looking left
The view looking right...at the exact same time! Hard to believe the sky can look so different and yet so beautiful. I should have taken a panorama but was too amazed at the differnce
PLEASE, can I have an Easter treat?
Another beautiful sky
Sometimes you just need a change of scenery when doing school
And sometimes a dog just makes you want to curl up and take a nap ;)
Did you know that you can buy pineapple plants from IKEA?!
We are good! Another please?
on teh runway
see ya later
Ms. Kathy, his piano teacher in the states, will always hold a special place in his heart
Pastor Dan! He even metioned Hudson from teh pulpit because he noticed that they were matching :)
We left early to fly out of Knoxville. Benjamin stopped by on his way to work for one more goodbye! I'm so glad he did because I had a migraine the night before so it wasn't the best goodbye.
Regan, Mamaw, and Aunt Nancy sending us off from McGee Tyson
Taking as much Regan time as we can get! How can it be that she is about to be a senior in college!
The kids got to sit in the pilot seats!

The pilot was so kind and asked Hudson lots of questions and explained a lot to Hudson. Delta pilots are some of the best! (and they have trading cards, too!)
Shadow did NOT want to be left behind again.
Last TCK Youth Bible study until school starts back in September!
Shadow is not our dog that lets you "do things" with or to him
but he was completely content and relaxed when he thought he was getting packed up for a trip
"my kiddos" The class keeps growing and growing! I love each and every one of them!

Jonathan helping me in a different Sunday school
You know your coffee bar is a good one when 35 cops show up for their morning coffee!

The intensity in his eyes! Cheese his is FAVORITE food (and he doesn't get it often)
Awe

Our new little one...his mom cried when she picked him up because he "stayed and had fun" He's autistic and was quite overwhelmed and over stimulated at the beginning, but it's nothing new here and we can work with that. He's nearly non-verbal, just lots of sounds, but was still able to communicate his wishes if you paid attention. We discovered that he LOVED to glue. So katherine sat next to him and cut pieces of paper as fast as she could so he could add it to his paper.
Some of our newest little friends! They have been here longer than us, but this family has found quite the soft spot in our hearts. Super sweet family! The girls are helping the kids this summer with phonics...and playing games, too!
