Beginning of April

Well, we were still stuck in quarantine, but the kids are enjoying that quarantine here doesn't mean that they cannot go outside to play. Another American tradition...sidewalk chalk!
We decided to order food. These two were enjoying checking out the options! (Taco Bell won the vote from the majority)
Who doesn't like to blow a dandelion?
All the trees are starting to bloom.
The kids caught a cricket! They were fascinated with it.
Regan was the master catcher ;)
Then she would pass it off to one of her siblings.
We still have to get our schoolwork done :)
Lauren doing a little science experiment...which plate will the ants choose? She put strawberry jam on all plates, but smeared other things around the outside of the plate to see if it would keep the ants away. Turns out that dish soap and shampoo keep the ants away from the yummy treat.
 She found a ladybug.
Aunt Kim decided to mail a "just to make you smile" package. Lots of candy! and soap and essential oils for the girls ;)
ALL of the kids had the same reaction.
So, I know these are just common sites to EVERYONE living in America right now, but I just wanted to document it for "down the road" when we are saying things like "do you remember when no one could find toilet paper for months?" So, here are my empty shelf pictures.

not even any ice cream :(
These kiddos are hard at work making birthday cards for Benjamin!
 and birthday signs

Yes, we ordered pizza again by request of a certain 15 year old boy :)
Our quarantine is FINALLY over and we can get hugs!!! LOTS and LOTS of hugs (but still being careful not to spread any germs and wearing our masks for hugs)

Mammy was smart for this one...up to steps to get a hug on Benjamin level.
 It's party time!
 Happy 15th birthday, Benjamin!
His sister bought him an Xbox game pass.
Lauren drew him a Pokemon card to go with his gift (an album to hold his cards)
Hudson also did a Pokemon card...
and gave him his own box of Krispy Kreme donuts.
What teenager doesn't love money! :)
I think this was his favorite gift. Pokemon Sword and Shield cards. He's always only had the fake cards from overseas, so he was excited to heave some authentic cards :)
 more money!
 Gaming headphones
It was a good day! 15 years!
 Just an interesting tree

I almost forgot the birthday selfie! We had to get it while he was playing his new games :)
Regan cut a gazillion pieces of paper and put them together to make a little Pokemon for her brother.
THIS is me on my way to happiness (going to get my driver's license renewed)
YEAH! I'm legal again and can drive! I love driving! :)
Next stop, driving to Granddad and Mammy's.
 Love this one
Benjamin found his old pogo stick in the garage. It has provided hours of entertainment and exercise for all of the kids.
The kids are so happy to be playing with a dog!
 Murphy loves playing fetch!

 More chalk art

 A super bright full moon!

 The dogwoods are blooming.
This is just genius. Snackable Cookie Dough. Yeah, I'm a fan. :)
