Crazy End of March EAST Edition

To say that the end of March was crazy is a bit of an understatement. It's a bit of picture overload, mostly so I have the memories later ;) This first group of pictures is from one of our favorite restaurants. It just recently opened back up after the shut down. We were so happy to eat there again! Lauren got "soup noodles with eggs and tomatoes"
Stir fried eggs and tomato noodles with a small bowl of soup

I was really taking this picture of these two waiting for their food so that I could get the little girl in the background. She is the shop owner's child and loves watching our family :) She was eating her lunch, too.
It was just us this time around. Jonathan was working and Benjamin was no tin the mood for this restaurant.

 The normal "soup noodles"
Rou zhao mo... kind of like a meat sandwich

Yes, we normally have leftovers. It's so much good food and such a good price.
I just love the trees around here.
Katherine's tomato plant keeps giving her tomatoes! How fun! All from one little seed!
This picture is actually for the car. This is the exact color car that Katherine wants one day, except she doesn't want the Porsche. She wants a truck :)
 Field trip adventure with Grace
We were waiting on another girl to join us and the kids got hungry. It was a nice warm snack.

The field trip didn't go as planned, so we ended up here at this park. We have not ever been here before.

It's been forever since I've seen this on a playground...and never one this tiny! I couldn't believe that they fit 4 of them on it (here is just 3)

This little boy was a cutie...dressed like a police officer. The back of his uniform said SWAT. So cute!
It's the time of year where these flowers fall from the trees above and sprinkle the ground with red.
I don't actually know what this tree is, but it's interesting.
The kids asked if they could roast marshmallows.
Our flight back to America got changed and we had to pack quickly. The puppies knew something was up.
Regan and some of the other coaches...she calls them by name, but our family has nicknames for each of them (even if they don't really apply anymore) Brown Hair Coach, CK, Curly Coach, and CK's Boyfriend

 Good Friends...CK and Regan
 Scout and Katherine
When Hudson realized we were getting on a plane early. He cried and went straight to his big sister.
Sweet friends! I told her about our flight change and she drove her girls over to see us before we left.
 Selina and Kelly
Hay Hay, Katherine, KK....Katherine with her long legs :) She had to sit on the ground to get down low enough.
 Hay Hay, Lauren, and KK
The kids saw their favorite guard who now works in management and got a picture before we went back in. He likes to give them a hard time.
We ordered takeout. YUM! Jiaozi, sweet and sour pork, corn, spicy green beans, eggplant, rice, sweet potatoes, and bread with sweetened condensed milk. WE normally don't order so much, but we let each of the kids pick a dish :)

 Benjamin and his cat Rocky
Benjamin wanted to pack him in his backpack.
Gracie is so much healthier now. She's going to miss Regan's shoulder!

I have no idea what they are talking about, but I love the picture :)
Please pack me! I want to go!
 Regan and Shadow
Going out in the rain to meet Xiao Jun and the girls. It's Yoyo's birthday.
 Happy 13th birthday, Yoyo!!!
The complex is still closed off to visitors, so we met them outside. We stood under a covered area and talked for a bit.
This is the way the birthday party turned out this year...
...but we had to get one quick picture showing all those pretty smiles!!
Jonathan made pizza and the boys brought it down for them.
It doesn't matter how big she gets, Regan will always try to pick her up ;)
and maybe even Xiao Jun as well!
The kids made the best of the space and time that they had. They are such a special group of kids.
 See ya later!

 Goodnight, kiddo!
They all just love these puppies to death.

 Cucumber

The smoke is from them "fogging" the area.
 All squeezed in the elevator
Last little bit before we leave and my friend calls and said that they had driven back down to our house because her husband wanted to say bye and to stay safe traveling with all of the cove stuff going on.
 The kids played Ninja
 and the adults talked
and we joked about all the different shades of skin between our 2 families
THIS is my buddy...ever since she was a baby. She is still waiting for me to take her on a trip with just the two of us ;)
Regan and Yoyo (I'm pretty sure she is on her tiptoes)

 You and Katherine
They said that because we are leaving early that they will miss Lauren's birthday, so they brought her present with them :) so sweet!

It's a little printer...hopefully we can get it to work

Excuse the mess behind me. I sat down for just a second and this little guy was in my lap in a split second!
Scout didn't want to be left out, but he just wanted to lay his head down.

 The tearful goodbye

Glad the puppies went home with Grace. They love her.
Lauren just got this bike for Christmas and asked if she could ride it one last time before we left.
She and Hudson went in circles
We stayed up until it was time to leave. Katherine made it until 12:30am. Our van came and got us at 1:30am
Off we go!!! It's the start of a long journey back to America (and by far the nicest van ride we have had since living here)
