Lake Day

Our family got invited to spend the afternoon at the lake. It was a fun time and not too hot since there were scattered thunderstorms. The girls enjoyed the hammock.
First time on a boat out on a lake....happy and excited kiddos!

Hudson asked if he could drive. He was so excited that he was allowed to! Although we kept having to say "watch where you are going!" :)
Lauren got a chance to drive also. She just wanted to do turns :)

Their first time ever going tubing! I told them to hold on...it's loads of fun!
Katherine and Regan
All the girls (we should have put Lauren in the middle because at some point the pull on her little body on the edge was just too much and she went in the water.
She was not scared to try again...this time just her and Benjamin
We saw a flock of geese ha ginghams out on the shore.
Group shot with the driver
The kids also got to try out kayaks for the first time. They LOVE it!

My sister made a surprise visit! She had a day off and decided to drive up. We celebrated by eating hibachi, my kids' favorite food (which we had not had yet)
Hudson didn't remember the restaurant. I love his face! :)
Regan and her daddy
We needed to run in to Target...which requires a group selfie to document the times
I had told Hudson that there are no taxis where we live. He absolutely loves taxis and wants to drive one one day. Well, we came out from the store and look what is parked RIGHT NEXT to us! It's even yellow and says Knoxville Taxi on the side. He said he knew there had to be taxis here.
Regan visited another university. This time Carsen-Newman. I'm having fun visiting with her and seeing what she thinks about each one. WE were excited that Emily got to join in on this one, too!
The tour was by gold cart

And finally, the long wait is over! She worked and saved her money, got it changed into US currency, and ordered an iPad Pro and pencil. She has wanted one ever since they came out. She is enjoying tinkering with the graphic art programs on it. And her sister is enjoying the customizable emojis ;)
