March in Review

I've enjoyed getting to watch Katherine learn a new sport. She has enjoyed getting to play with her friends twice a week. I can't always make it to the lesson in time to see the actual games they play but I sure do enjoy watching them.

In Sunday school we learned about Jericho...this was our craft to help remind them how to tell the story.
These two were happy that we got an invite to meet at a bubble tea shop nearby.
We just got one an shared...but this picture cracked me up because the baby looks like...what about me?
She was a huge fan!
She is also Katherine's little buddy.
Hot pot at the house. I was talking with a Chinese friend and she was saying "What? You don't do hot pot at your house?" Then next thing I know there is a delivery at our door with a hot pot machine

Wow. Trying to get to church during a marathon is quite the task! We kept walking trying to figure out how to get to the other side of the road.
Our English lesson about Jericho
Awe, he's such a good helper.
Happy 14th birthday, Lauren!!!
She wanted a panda themed sleepover!
She did all of the decorating :)

We ordered a "Bubble Bomb" for the party. These kids sure do love the bubble tea!
Dragon fruit and litchi, with 2 cups of bubbles to choose from (strawberry and passion fruit)
Making their personal pizzas at the party
Eleanora and Angie
Lauren and Leah
making drinks for everyone
Sara was video taping the opening of the presents :)
Hoola Hoop personally decorated by Leah
Stuffed Monkey from Mamaw
The party crew...Leah, Sarah, Eleanora, Lauren, Katherine, Hudson, Giorgia
I think she liked it ;)

Next morning. They are still full of energy. They stayed up most of the night singing karaoke, playing Just Dance, playing board games, talking, and eating.
Her gift from us was to go shopping for a new outfit and a dress. She was so excited and wasn't sure what to do. She said she wasn't used to getting to look through stores knowing that she might actually buy it. We mostly window shop
Katherine. My hero. She solved the annoying pigeon problem. It's been a few weeks and this has effectively kept them away.
Hudson got his eyes checked and left with a new prescription. We are still waiting on the new glasses.
After the doctor, we walked to my English class together. I didn't have time to take him home first...
...so we got a water and snack before class.
This older gentleman insisted on taking the two of us out for coffee after we dropped the kids off at school. He talked the entire time and quoted scripture through most of it as well!
We saved one present for Lauren's real birthday. A jewelry box.
Jonathan was out of town for her birthday...but the rest of us celebrated by eating Chinese together.
Yum

Loved all of the smiles

And gelato on the way home
And we finished off the night with a FaceTime from her big sister
Regan sent me some photos as well...She went to her first dance. Fun times. She's just beautiful.
So glad she had some friends to go with...and for American friends who have extra dresses!! :)
